Pepper to Launch in Taiwan

July 25 sales launch for enterprise customers marks first entry outside Japan

SoftBank Robotics Holdings Corp. today announced that its humanoid robot ‘Pepper’ will be available to corporate customers in Taiwan starting July 25, 2016 through Perobot, a subsidiary of the Foxconn Technology Group (“Foxconn”) headquartered in Taipei city.The sales launch will mark the first time for Pepper to be available outside Japan.

In addition, Asia Pacific Telecom, also a subsidiary of Foxconn, will conduct Pepper demonstrations starting today.
